Barron Heating
Established in 1982 - Barron Heating Ltd is a family run business. Our engineers are fully trained and are able to provide a fast and efficient service to all our customers. We provide a friendly, reliable heating and plumbing service (and more) and pride ourselves on giving a first class service, with a lot of our work provided on recommendation which goes to prove that we do a first class job for a fair price.

We have a loyal customer base of private homeowners - as well as local businesses, including: letting agencies, offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, care homes, churches, schools and parish councils. You have the reassurance that our engineers are Gas Safe (9893), Oftec (C3169), LPG and Unvented registered. We are also commercial and industrial registered.

We are Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers and can offer a 7 year guarantee on all Greenstar gas-fired boilers (8 years if a Worcester System Filter is installed). For Vaillant and Grant boilers we offer a 5 year guarantee.

Regular and system boilers heat your central heating system directly and produce hot water for yourcylinder.
A combi boiler provides heating and hot water directly from the boiler.
A combi (or combination) boiler is an ingenious space-saving idea, and an increasingly popular choice in UK homes.
In fact, combis now account for well over half of all the new domestic boilers installed in Britain every year.
A combi boiler is both a high-efficiency water heater and a central heating boiler, combined (hence the name) within one compact unit.
When the heating system is cool, the pressure should be between 1 and 1.5 bar on the pressure gauge (the indicator needle would usually be in the green section).
If pressure is below 0.5 bar (or in the red section), water has been lost from the system and must be replaced.
Your system will have either an internal filling key or an external filling hose (sometimes called a loop).
The video below demonstrates how to repressurise a heating system using an internal filling key.
