These cylinders feature three tiers of safety mechanisms: a 'thermostat' ensuring water temperature remains below 60-65 degrees, a 'high-level cut-out stat' that triggers at 80-90 degrees in case of thermostat failure, and a 'temperature relief valve' activating if both the thermostat and high-level cut-out stat fail. Malfunctioning safety components increase the risk of water overheating, leading to pressure accumulation within the tank and potential cylinder explosion. Therefore, annual inspections are imperative.

I had received incorrect diagnoses from other engineers. However, Paul from Kesselmann immediately identified the issue with my heating system and provided valuable, tailored advice for my home. Unlike some companies that seek quick profits without considering customer needs, Paul demonstrated genuine care and professionalism. He sent Joe to fix it, who was both professional and efficient. This company and its staff are the best I’ve ever encountered. They also have an excellent system to keep customers informed from start to finish. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are the ones you can trust!

Arrived within the hour after been contacted via a family member, had to pick up the pieces from a shoddy job carried out by a previous plumber. Very professional and had all the equipment and knowledge to carry out a brilliant repair to a pipe that was damaged. Would highly recommend to any friends and family seeking a proper job by a very good tradesman. Job was carried out by technician Paul.

Fantastic service throughout the issues with my boiler. I had an annoying whistling sound and grumbling noise which I explained when I had my boiler serviced. Paul was honest and explained all the options to me.
I had some time to think about which option I would go for and opted for changing of gas valves and a major service. All in all it fixed the issue with my boiler to which I was chuffed!!!

We had a very old (almost 20 years) boiler and hot water tank system and although Paul and his colleagues have serviced it for the past couple of years and kept it going, with the cost of gas soaring and the boiler becoming more inefficient as the years went by we decided to have it replaced.
We had a couple of quotes from a few companies but not only was the quote from Paul and the team at Kesselmann very clear and set out exactly what the works were which needed to be done and the cost of these and the parts, they took the time to explain to us the options available to us and what could and couldn’t work in our house.
We opted for a new combi boiler, which involved a new plumbing system throughout the house, after weighing up the pros and cons and we are so glad we did as we have seen a massive improvement in our water pressure and our energy costs.
Paul and Phil were fantastic engineers. Incredibly professional, efficient and diligent. Their work was thorough, very tidy and even a last minute request the day before the installation didn’t phase them. Paul and Phil even got all the radiators working (something which we didn’t think was possible after having other plumbers look at them and not be able to)!
Every member of the team we have dealt with and spoken to at Kesselmann has been so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. We’re already saving up to have the team back later on in the year to replace our bathroom!
