Founded in 1982, Southern Burner Services Ltd has been servicing Gas and Oil boilers and Aga's for 36 years. Our engineers are Gas Safe and Oftec registered and between them have in excess of 50 years of experience. Over this time, we have built up a sizeable and loyal customer base. We are a family run business who pride ourselves in providing a first class service to all of our customers to ensure that we meet their expectations.
We aim to provide a same day boiler and system breakdown service to our regular service customers during week days 9-5. Landlords' Properties - Country Estates - Riding Stables - Shops - Businesses of all sizes. Appliance breakdowns are inconvenient and often occur in the midst of winter, so we offer a breakdown emergency call out service.
For our regular customers we aim to respond the same day, plus all of our vans are stocked with a range of common used spare parts and components so we can get you back up and running straight away where possible.For new customers we aim to respond to your emergency within 24 hours.

Lee is a fully qualified Gas Safe and Oftec engineer with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the heating industry.
Phil did his initial training with British Gas, worked for Baxi as a service engineer and brings with him 20 years of experience and knowledge in the Gas boiler industry.

When a boiler is installed either as a new installation or as a replacement the appliance must be commissioned to comply with current building regulations.
This must be carried out by a qualified and competent engineer.
The purpose of commissioning is to check and certify that the installation complies with building regulations and that the boiler is set up to burn exactly how the manufacturer intends it to.
Our commission inspection makes sure all pipe work and flues are installed correctly as well as checking the combustion chamber and baffles in case of movement in transit, making sure all safety valves have been fitted (where applicable) and that the pressures and combustion levels on the burner have been set correctly.

Thank you for your excellent service this week helping my vulnerable 89 year old father with his broken down boiler and fixing it so promptly.
It was a great relief to us to leave him with a nice warm safe house again.
A relief that he no longer had to use fan heaters which were a danger to him eg.
Once again, I called SBS to help me - this time because 8 people had been to my elderly mother's house to "fix" her boiler & failed.
She was going out to the garage in the cold and dark multiple times a night to switch the boiler back on.
