The company was started in 1980 by Roger Mitchell and was known simply as RJ Mitchell, when Rogers's youngest son John joined the company in 2000 it later became RJ Mitchell and Son Limited.
The company is still very much a family business headed by John and his wife Kimberley.

We are fully gas safe registered and have a fully qualified OFTEC registered subcontractor which means we are able to install both gas and oil fired boilers.

This chapel situated in Combe Down had to install a new boiler due to their old boiler of 40 years finally failing.
This gave the chapel the opportunity to not only install a much more efficient boiler but to also electronically control different zones in the building.
Due to the multifunctional use of the chapel the zones are used at different times.
This will give greater control over the individual zones all controlled by a Horstmann 4 channel programmer.
All the zones can have independent timed periods again giving high levels of control to ensure zones are only heated when needed with little human input.

To supply and fit two Vaillant Ecotec Plus condensing boilers.
Install a low loss header and link the boilers to it.
To improve the running of the boilers we installed on an ebus coupler which enables the boilers to work together as one unit.
The boilers can communicate through the cable to modulate the internal pumps and overall heat output as the system requires.
This ensures equal wear on each boiler.
