Services
John came round as promised and did a quote for a new boiler.
It was competitive so we went ahead.
The two guys doing the job, Dan & Jack were excellent, did the job in record time, ensuring that we had hot water/heating for as long as we could.
Left the place clean and tidy afterwards too!
They even joined in with child care as our 2 1/2 year old son obviously wanted to help them, so they let him pass them stuff etc. Highly recommended.
I forget to follow up on here.! John was very efficient and Dan his Engineer excellent.
Our friendly and professional team make choosing the right boiler easy.
If you're unsure about choosing the right boiler but are not ready to contact us yet, here's a quick guide to the different types of boilers available.
There are three types of condensing boiler: combination, system and regular (sometimes called a "traditional" or "conventional" boiler).
All three options are highly efficient systems, so choosing the right boiler depends on several factors.
Short for combination, the combi-boiler is compact and efficient.
Short for 'combination' boiler, the combi-boiler is a compact single unit serving two functions, hot water and heating.
The cost-efficient design works by taking water directly from the mains, using hot water only when you need it.
A combi-boiler is a compact, small, unit.
Saving space and money, they have become the most popular type of heating system in the UK, with combi-boilers being fitted in over 50% of new domestic heating installations.
Another big benefit to having a combi-boiler installed is that they are easy to install, operate and maintain.
Smart stands for 'Self-Monitoring Analysis & Reporting Technology', different from programmable thermostats.
A smart thermostat allows you to control your heating system from a mobile device outside the household.
So, in theory, as long as you had an internet connection, you'd be able to use your smart heating controls anywhere in the world.
Some smart controls can now make adjustments to the indoor temperature according to the temperature outside.
Smart heating controls are great for people who like to play with technology.
A system boiler has a separate cylinder for storing water and the hot water is stored in the cylinder.
A system boiler has a separate cylinder for storing water and although the heating and water systems are built into the boiler, the hot water is stored in the cylinder.
Meaning that you can access a continuous hot water supply from multiple water points.
For instance, a property with more than one bathroom would benefit from a system boiler.
System boilers are generally much quicker and also much more economical to run than traditional boilers.
