R.F.Henderson began life in 1979 as domestic heating engineers founded by the now retired Chairman Robert Fenwick Henderson.
The company grew steadily during the 1980's and by 1992 when Ian Henderson the founder's son joined the business and identified commercial and social housing markets as the main targets for growth he was later joined by the current Manager Nik Smith.
In 2018 RF Henderson Ltd became part of the Northumbrian Property Services Group (NPSG) and now operates along with its sister companies R Arnott & Sons Ltd, JP Westall Ltd and Stonebridge Interiors, combined the business have nearly 200 years of trading.
